The Buff Daddy DAS-6 has an enviable reputation amongst newcomers to machine polishing, but pro detailers would often feel it lacked punch compared to a rotary on tougher paints. So the Buff Daddy Pro was born, with a more powerful 880W motor, capable of tackling the hardest clearcoats when used with microfibre pads and suitable compounds.
Be aware that the Buff Daddy Pro DA-900 can reach far higher panel temperatures than the lower powered DAS-6 machine and this may lead to pad delamination – so keep an eye on panel temperatures and don't overwork the polishing pads.
