A pre-wax cleanser is not essential to cleaning and protecting your car, however if used before waxing or adding a sealant to your paintwork it will help keep it in tip top condition. It also provides a good bonding agent between the metal/plastic and the protection.

Most will usually wash their car and then straight away add a coat of wax, however a pre-wax cleanser helps to bring alive and maintain the gloss to your paint. Some can contain micro-abrasives which can reduce minor swirls and imperfections and can be used as regular as you like without harming the thickness of your paintwork.
