Juicy Detailing vs Peugeot 206 SW

Well the mother in law decided that she was going away on holiday so I took the opportunity to get my hands on her car. Its never been cleaned properly, lives outside and the only thing they have ever used on it is Pro Shine - Spray and Shine. It lacks any depth and shine so.......take a 7 year old Peugeot 206SW..

The bodywork is covered in swirls and scratches due to the lack of care....one deep scratch on the bonnet...



and another nice one on the passenger side, there is also one on the back but didnt get a picture.





Started the usual process Snow foamed 







then left for a while before rinsing..I'm sure she's been driving through a field never seen so much mud come off one car (for someone with OCD it made me shiver with disgust )



the water is just sticking to the bonnet





Using the 2 bucket method with one of our latest Juicy Lambswool wash mitts and Chemcial Guys Maxi Suds Shampoo (rinsed and washed again due to the amount of mud still on the car)





After rinsing for the final time the car was moved inside for drying using a Chemical Guys Miracle Drying Towel





Once dried it was time for the juicy clay bar and Dodo Juice Born to Be Slippy Lube to come out..



after claying the car was washed and dried again. The car was then prepared for machine polishing





Out comes the DAS-6, Orange Hex Logic Pad and after trying several different options settled on 3M Fast Cut Plus 50417



With the Fast Cut Plus it took around 6 hour to complete this stage (I was unable to remove completely all the bad scratches but I would definitely say it was a vast improvement on how it came in) and then moved on the the pre-wax cleanser Dodo Juice Lime Prime using a 3M Yellow High gloss finishing pad....





After completing the Lime Prime I washed and dryed again to remove all the dust, etc





As this is quite a warm colour I decided to use Dodo Juice Orange Crush....







After left to cure it was then buffed off with a Dodo Juice Fantastic Fur









Scratch on the bonnet (sorry these pics were taken once in her garage as I forgot to do it and the lighting was poor)



Scratch that was on the passenger side door



The exterior plastic and vinyl was treated with Chemical Guys Natural Look New Shine Dressing and the tyres were finished Chemical Guys New Look Trim Gel
